Mehboob Mustafa Batt: A Symbol of Unity 

Chenab Valley has been a major hub of the state from where people of all aspects of life are representing in different specialisations viz National Politics, State Bureaucracy, Journalism, indian Administrative Service, Sports and many more. In political field too, the youngsters

are veering to represent the people of these tough terrains with their own ideas and oracle for action. In near future, the young people are striving hard at their own capacities to work 

for the people. 

One such young and dynamic leader is Mehboob Mustafa Batt, son of the noted social activist of Bhalessa, Ghulam Mustafa Batt (Azad) whose family by and large played a 

catalystic role and acted as a helping hand for the poor and needy since time immemorial.

Mehboob Mustafa Batt (Azad), a man of myriad qualities, Visionary, gentle, always ready to serve the needy has been a source of inspiration for the youth of Bhalessa, Bhaderwah. Mehboob, who has a vision to “Idea of Unity for Humanity” to unite the people of all walks of life and has in mind a progressive approach to development of his hometown. 

Honest to his work, he has been played a key role in unorganised sector of the country and 

has been entrusted the responsibility of the Northern India to look after the condition of the working class populace who are otherwise devoid of the certain rights by the state. 

On unemployment side, he and his NGO has a unique Programme of reaching the people hitherto unreached by imbibing the skill and competence among the working class 

and unskilled youth of the Northern India. Mehboob Mustafa, has been liked for his multifaceted qualities and his idea of Working for the masses. As a Chairman of the NGO 

Helping Hand, and Foundation of Unity and Humanity, he has a vision to provide solace to the cross sections of the society. 

On the other hand, among new leaders is Nadeem Sharief Niaz Son of former Minister Mohammed Sharief Niaz Sahib, who has a distinction to be a Publicity secretary of the state Congress. Always ready and active, energetic and keen to social action. 

Our society has certain peculiar problems like of Road connectivity, Administrative convenience, Hill District Status for the trio Tehsils of Bhalessa, Chilly Pingal and Kahara, 

the aspirations of all the three tehsils should be taken care by any leader in future to provide much needed solace, Since Senior leaders like G N Azad Sb, MS Niaz Sahib, Daleep Singh 

Parihar Sb, MLC Naresh Gupta Sahib, Mehboob Mustafa Batt, Nadeem Sharief is having the dossier of the same. The young leaders are working tirelessly with their fellows and 

seniors, common men and Social Activists, Journalists and elderly to move with a new Idea of Unity and empowerment of the unorganised sector in general and the people of the h Chenab valley in particular. 

What is needed is to put in place the most genuine demands of the area and work on them so as to ensure social justice of the masses who are still deprived of the basic 

necessities of life, electricity, roads, colleges, administrative conveniences, School infrastructure. The unemployment has been a very crucial component of the youth in our settings and there is a need to provide employment opportunities and self-employment avenues. The problem of unskilled unemployment can be stemmed by setting up a large 

scale infrastructure in the area viz a viz improving the tourism and Industrial sector so as to absorb the unemployment and engange the youth of the area in these avenues. The valley of Chenab in general and the Bhalessa and Bhadewah in particular, the roadmap has to be 

framed to ensure that every area get justice and to ensure the cohesive social order. 

Every new leader need a mentor, an association, a group, a guide and a Political Guru, as has been learnt from the history of the most powerful Institutions and empires,leadership depends on how powerful the leader is from the wisdom. Politics is a very 

technical subject and it needs a consistent efforts and a roadmap for his people. We hope every leader who is a student of Politics needs to imbibe the aspirations and the people 

intact, work on that roadmap and ideology. Mehboob Mustafa Batt is playing a key role in uniting his family, society, area in a very holistic manner and is seen as a ray of hope like other leaders of the Chenab Valley.
