MEMORANDUM OF DEMANDS OF SOTI DUDWAR (MALIK MOHALLA)

1. Changa Tehsil be made functional thereby separate Patwar halqas and Girdawar circles be created.                           
2.  Link road facility to Chowkidar Mohallah, Old Soti Malik Mohellah, KhemalZar, Madhan, Munshi Mohallah and be connected to Kakoti, Gudgan area as these areas are devoid from main roads. These interior areas be linked either from Changa Bala,or Masjid shrarief Changa (Near the house of (Asgar Hussain). 
3. There are three pipelines from Service reservoir Soti to Malik Mohalla, but all remained dry throughout the year owing to the damages and poor maintenance by the concerned Department. The fact that, these pipelines are drawn along a insanitary drain and is overlapped alongside insanitary drain leading to the  water contemplation. The water is not judiciously distributed to Malik mohallah. There are 27 water connections Regd. but water supply remained too low to cater to the needs of the village. A separate line from Bonencha to Malik Mohalla be installed and estimated along with a Reservoir to cater to the acute water shortage.
4.  Poor Insanitary Lane drain drawn from Mir Mohallah has put our village in bad condition as the lane need to be constructed at an earliest. 
5. Creation of Additional posts in Sub Centre Health located at Know Soti.       
6. Filter Plant be installed near Service Reservoir Dhera Soti.     
7. ATM facility         
8. Health Dispensary be established at Soti. 
9. Timber rates be decreased in Forest controlled Timber Depots located at Soti.special care be taken of BPL households.

Unsung heroes of Bhalessa

By Sadaket Malik Over time many families in   Kashmir   have migrated from one part to another in search of habitation and livelihood. Some of such families inhibited in a remote corner of Doda District (Bhalessa). When people of Bhalessa shared a belief in 1953 that how they can represent the democratic arena. One such families was the Batt family which migrated to the Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh while a few factions stayed in Bhalessa's Soti village. The family at Soti took up peasant work. Ghulam Rasool (Azad) was born in the year 1916 to this peasant family. Another family later which produced Munhshi Mohammed Anwer, traveled extensively from   Kashmir   by foot, as there was no transportation in place and the people had no access to information. Soti Jawali Bal Padri Road in Bhalessa : A Source to reach the hitherto unreached Populace

Sadaket Malik Bal Padri  is  having enough potential to hold back W tourist in the area for at least a fortnight. Imagine how much good it could do to the local economy. Places of pilgrimages if promoted will help bringing the tourist to these areas even while the infrastructure is being developed.
