Are JNU Students creating youth awakening in the country ?

*Sadaket Malik The very recent victory of a particular ideological leaning in world famous Jawahar lal Nehru University (JNU) is an eye opener for the entire country. The recent victory of a particular ideological leaning is an answer for cohesive social order and a way forward for good governance. This indicated that social fabric of a Society and democratic institutions in this country need to be preserved from corporate hegemony and religious bigotry.       These frequent upheavals and a rising tide in democratic setup is a massage to emulate for the youth strata of our great nation, who were used and thrown by political mafia since time immemorial. The massage is clear, weather youth strata has been prey of religious bigotry, capitalist hegemony. The massage of youth encompases a system out of claws of fassiparious tendencies prevalent in the country. The JNU Students groups has not only kept alive the democratic institutions but has by and large created a youth awakening in t

BHALESSA: Talent grounded in dust, what to look upto.

The budding generations taking advantage of digilisation has not only awakened them for deciding their future but has a long way to defy Social cultural and political hegemony looming over their heads. The awakened Bhallesians has to prove and anti hegemonic sentiments are arising day by day giving way to different ideological leanings to end the age old hegemony. The reasons could be many; The person of my small stature having roots in a middle class family witnessed this since long. at this juncture instead of becoming prey of the mafia, a unification of all these ideological leanings, small groups, social activists; is strongly felt to end age old hegemony that has given nothing to its unemployed youth, and improvised people. Bhalessa Saqafti Markuz felt the need for unification of these ideologies and social activists belonging to poor middle class families to introspect on this concept to decide their future.. If they give wings to their thought and directions to their talent th

Syed Shujaat Bhukhari : Truth verses hype

*Sadaket Malik At the midst of 2017, vaneet Koul a reputed  Journalist  discussed with a person of my small stature at least, about the Son of Kashmir "Syed Shujaat Bukhari' an iconic, aesthetics and Truth verses hype brand of journalism as against the famously speaking "blackmailing" and politically at several odds. Exhorted and poited out towards us to make him your role model to get into the ethical profession. vaneet koul a known figure and a mentor in journslism in the sub continent was true to his analysis regarding the "professional ethics" imbibed by the legendry man. Shujaat Bhukhari can be a big loss for a rational media fraternity and a voice of unheared starta. His writings never reveal any tilt towards any of the ideological leanings pravelant in kashmir but lo and behold exposed all behind the wrong doings.  vneets exhortion at me was a conincidence, never followed him owing to certain family compulsions and advised other senior jounalist

Unsung heroes of Bhalessa

By Sadaket Malik Over time many families in   Kashmir   have migrated from one part to another in search of habitation and livelihood. Some of such families inhibited in a remote corner of Doda District (Bhalessa). When people of Bhalessa shared a belief in 1953 that how they can represent the democratic arena. One such families was the Batt family which migrated to the Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh while a few factions stayed in Bhalessa's Soti village. The family at Soti took up peasant work. Ghulam Rasool (Azad) was born in the year 1916 to this peasant family. Another family later which produced Munhshi Mohammed Anwer, traveled extensively from   Kashmir   by foot, as there was no transportation in place and the people had no access to information. Things were totally different in Bhalessa at that time. Munshi Sahib's grandfather migrated to Changa   village   of   Bhalessa   to earn his living, accompanied by some family members.
